Mrs. Lillian Gertrude Poole, age 87, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at Westward Trails.
Mrs. Poole was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Houston, Texas. She had lived in Nacogdoches for several years and was retired from the newspaper industry.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Poole of Nacogdoches; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pool; a daughter, Jacqueline; and a son, Reginald.
Graveside rites are set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Grace Memorial Park, located at 10708 State Hwy. 6 in Hitchcock, Texas, with Bro. Dennis Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
