Recognizing the services non-profit chamber members provide to the community is the focus of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth Friday Luncheon presented by Tipton Ford, Inc.
City Fire Chief Keith Kiplinger will speak on the impact “Home Town Heroes” make in the community.
The luncheon is noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3 in the HotelFredoniaConvention Center. Immediately following the luncheon, time is set from 1 to 2 p.m. for anyone to visit one-on-one with the non-profit representatives.
“Our non-profit organizations are a valuable part of our community,” said chamber Chairman Lee Smith. “These organizations and individuals work very hard to make Nacogdoches a better place by providing assistance and help for specific needs. At the luncheon the chamber members as well as the public get the opportunity to recognize and thank ‘our home town heroes’ for all that they do.”
The luncheon serves as the Chamber’s monthly membership meeting, and all from the community are invited to attend. Reservations are required by Feb. 2, and lunch is $16 at the door. A safe “pay online” option is available at nacogdoches.org, or contact the chamber to register, 936-560-5533.
“I encourage everyone to come Friday, Feb. 3 and visit the various organizations exhibits. Ask questions and learn more about what they do. See how they help others and what you can do to help them make Nacogdoches a Better Place of Tomorrow,” Smith said.
All attending may enter the $50 drawing, and all chamber members are entered in a $250 drawing, but you must be present to win. Both drawings sponsored by First Bank & Trust East Texas.
Event Gold sponsors are Axley & Rode, LLP, and Xerographix East Texas, Inc.
