Mrs. Opal Hensarling McLemore, age 94, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McLemore was born January 10, 1918, in San Augustine County as a daughter of Abram Hensarling and Vivian Garrett Hensarling. She was a longtime resident of San Augustine, Texas, before moving to Nacogdoches 36 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. McLemore was a beautician and homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Vernon E. McLemore and wife Brenda of Nacogdoches.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Ray McLemore, on Feb. 14, 1991.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Funeal services are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, located at 316 W. Columbia St. in San Augustine, Texas. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden, located on Hwy. 147 North in San Augustine, Texas.
