The Nacogdoches County Constable Office precinct 4 and the precinct 1 Constable Office seized a gallon of methamphetamine oil in liquid form on Tuesday evening. Constable Bridges stated that his office has been working an active investigation on the distribution and manufacturing of methamphetamine in the Sacul and Cushing communities for the last several months. During the course of the investigation, the constable office identified a white female that the constable office believes has been distributing large amounts of methamphetamine in the area.
The constable office went to the residence to serve a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance in which the constables office had made during the course of the investigation. Constable Bridges stated that Deputy Constables arrived at the residence on Cr. 991 and discovered a large amount of methamphetamine oil in plain sight sitting on the porch of the residence.
The constable’s office found Torrie Lynn Sheppard 41 years of age inside the residence. She was arrested for the felony warrant for possession of a Controlled Substance State Jail felony and additional charge of possession of a controlled substance a first degree felony was also placed on Sheppard.
Constable Bridges stated that his office is still investigating where the rest of the components of the methamphetamine lab have went to. We were able to find the main ingredients of the methamphetamine oil, which would have produced a large amount of methamphetamine. The methamphetamine oil recovered showed a total weight 1384 grams. Bridges stated that his office has an ongoing investigation and has identified other subjects that they believe were also involved. More warrants may be issued at a later date that has stemmed from this investigation.
Sounded like it was his on going investigation and they assisted.
Wonder why Bridges didn’t let the Precinct 1 Constable make the call to the media?
