Mr. Sam McKinnie, age 85, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012.
He was born February 5, 1926, to parents Sam McKinnie and Alice Hines in Harrell, Arkansas.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, with Bro. Robert Easterling of Mahl Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street, Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
