Velta Evelyn Tischhauser, 77, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at her home in Nacogdoches. She was born on March 15, 1934 to parents, Jacob and Ruby Lawlis, in Seymour, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Tischhauser, son, Paul H. Tischhauser and daughter, Debbie Tabb.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2011 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Commital service will follow at 4:30 pm at the Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, January 5, 2011 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors at 10:00am with Rev. Steve Newton of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
