Boot camp for growing a successful business

     A two-session Business Boot Camp hosted by the City Main Street and the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m., Jan. 23 and 24 at the chamber, 2516 North St. Pre-registration is required and more information including a registration form is available online at nacogdoches.org or call 936-560-5533.

     “Anyone considering a new business start up or business expansion will benefit by attending,” said Brian Bray, chamber vice chair of Business Development. “The information should be applicable to a variety of industries and helpful to all that are ready to start or grow their businesses.”

The topics and speakers are:

– Monday, Jan. 23 – Legal & Accounting “Organizing to Make a Profit” with speakers Drew Knowles, Clardy, Davis & Knowles, L.L.P. and Carla M. Morgan, C.P.A., L.L.C.

– Tuesday, Jan. 24 – Advertising, Marketing & Social Media “Finding Prospects and Reaching Customers” with speakers Tyrone Curl, Encore Multimedia and Lauren Azios, MasseyMedia, Inc.

     A light dinner will be served at the beginning of each session. For Nacogdoches County Chamber members, cost is $20 per session or $35 for both sessions. For non-members, cost is $30 per session or $55 for both sessions.
