Mr. Don Williams Jackson, age 80, of Garrison,Texas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Nacogdoches Medical Center Hospital.
He was born July 12, 1931, in Garrison, Texas, and was a former longtime resident of the Austin and Houston areas. He was a retired investments banker. Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.
His survivors include his sons, Don Warren Jackson and wife Tammie of Garrison, Texas, and Darrell Ray Jackson and wife Angela of Austin, Texas; and a granddaughter, Madison Jackson of Austin, Texas.
Graveside rites have been set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, located on FM 138 in Garrison, Texas.
