Mrs. Marvis Christopher Cochran, age 86, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Cochran was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Nacogdoches, Texas, as a daughter of the late W.T. and Mae Christopher.
She was married April 18, 1946, to James S.Cochran of Beaumont while she was employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James S. Cochran of Nacogdoches; four chldren, Ann, Sue, Mike, and Joyce; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, located at 2548 FM 2112 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
