5. CONSENT AGENDA: Items included under the Consent Agenda require little or no deliberation by the Council.  Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the City Manager or his designee to proceed with conclusion of each in accordance with staff recommendations as reflected in the minutes of this meeting.

Consider approval of minutes from regular session of October 18, 2011. (City Secretary)

Consider acceptance of the water, sewer, streets and drainage facilities in the Summer Hill Subdivision.  (Engineering)

 

REGULAR AGENDA:

6. PUBLIC HEARING:  Consider the request for a Specific Use Permit to construct a cell tower on Lot 32, City Block 54 located on Highway 7 East.  (City Planner)
7. PUBLIC HEARING:  Consider an Ordinance amending Chapter 94 “Taxation”, Article II “Property Tax” providing for the ad valorem taxation of Super Freeport goods pursuant to Section 11.253 of the Texas Tax Code.  (City Manager)
8. Review preliminary options to supplement water resources due to the severe drought.  (City Manager/City Engineer)
9. Consider contracting with an auditing firm to conduct compliance audits of hotel occupancy tax (HOT) remittances from local lodging providers.  (City Manager)

10.  Consider amendments to Chapter 106 “Water Utilities”, Article II “Sewer System” of the City of Nacogdoches Code of Ordinances.  (Water Utilities Manager)

11.  Cast votes for Nacogdoches Appraisal District Board of Directors.  (Mayor)
