Graveside service for Mrs. Della Louiza Walker Fuller, 88, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 2 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
Della L. Walker Fuller was born in Antlers, Oklahoma on December 26, 1922, daughter of Albert and Dora Pharr Walker. She passed away in Nacogdoches, Texas on Tuesday October 25, 2011.
Mrs. Fuller married the love of her life, Mr. Henry L. Fuller, for 53 years before he passed away on February 5, 2001. They were married on September 12, 1947 in Sebastian, Texas. Della was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Nacogdoches. She was a lifelong member and thoroughly enjoyed attending church. Della loved spending time in her garden and tending to her flowers. She especially loved the holidays and enjoyed big meals with her family. Della was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be truly missed by all of her loved ones.
Della is survived by two sons, Troy Fuller of Nacogdoches, and Terry Fuller and wife, Geri, of Nacogdoches; two grandchildren, Kevin Fuller and Keith Fuller, both of Nacogdoches; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Fuller, her son, James Fuller, and a grandson, Jamie Fuller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4407 Old Tyler Rd. Nacogdoches, Texas 75964.
