May 11: SFA Crime Log

     On 5-11-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Steen Hall in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival the Officer located a fire extinguisher that had been sprayed in the west tower stairwell. There are no suspects.

     On 5-11-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Steen Hall in reference to Assault. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 5-11-2011 she was pushed by a known subject at Steen Hall. The complainant declined to press criminal charges. There is one suspect.

     On 5-10-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Lodge in reference to Burglary of a Habitation. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 5-8-2011 and 5-9-2011 his Xbox controller was stolen from his unsecured residence at Lumberjack Lodge. There are no suspects.

     On 5-10-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lot 27 in reference to Hit and Run. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 5-8-2011 and 5-10-2011 her unattended vehicle was damaged in lot 27. There are no suspects.

     On 5-10-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Steen Library in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised the week after spring break her iPod touch and a watch were stolen from her residence. The complainant also stated on 5-9-2011 a pizza pan was stolen from her residence at University Woods. There are no suspects.

     On 5-10-2011 an Officer observed a subject driving on East College St and park at Kampus Bookstore. The Officer knew that the subject had two active warrants. The Officer made contact with the subject and discovered that the subject was driving without a valid driver’s license. The subject was arrested for the warrants and for Driving While License Invalid with prior convictions. The subject was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
