- Presentations and Recognitions: Consider a Proclamation designating May “Historic Preservation Month”. (Mayor)
- Items to be removed from the Consent Agenda.
- 5. CONSENT AGENDA: Items included under the Consent Agenda require little or no deliberation by the Council. Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the City Manager or his designee to proceed with conclusion of each in accordance with staff recommendations as reflected in the minutes of this meeting.
- Consider approval of minutes from the regular session of April 19, 2011. (City Secretary)
REGULAR AGENDA:
- PUBLIC HEARING: Consider establishment of “Commercial-Industrial Reinvestment Zone #27” (Mast Powertrain) for the City of Nacogdoches” for tax abatement pursuant to the Property Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act of 1981, Article 1066f. Said Zone #27 shall be that area described as Lot 15-A-3, City Block 66 located at 330 Northwest Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas. (Planning)
7. Consider allowing overnight “camping” in Festival Plaza for the cook teams that are part of the annual Juneteenth Celebration per section 86-27 of the Nacogdoches Code of Ordinances. (Main Street Manager)
8. Review current revenues and consider revenue projections for 2011-12 fiscal year. (City Manager)
9. Review of Drought Contingency Plan. (City Engineer)
