FATALITY VICTIM OF MAJOR ACCIDENT IDENTIFIED

(July 8, 2025) – Authorities have disclosed the identity of the deceased individual involved in the major accident that took place at approximately 3:56 am this morning in the 3800 block of N. University Dr. The victim has been identified as Julissa Hernandez, a 21-year-old resident of Shelby County, TX. Currently, it is believed that the victim, who was operating a 2014 Cadillac Escalade, was heading southbound in the 3800 block of N. University Dr. when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with several trees. It is thought that the victim was ejected from the vehicle during the incident.
