Nacogdoches, Tx (May 2, 2025)
At approximately 10:45 pm Thursday night Nacogdoches Police and Fire personnel were dispatched to the 2200 block of Maybell St between Sweetgum St and 4th St in reference to an injured subject laying in the street. Officers discovered a subject with several stab wounds laying in the street. Officers also discovered a large amount of blood and located the location of a disturbance at a nearby residence.
Officers then encountered a subject who advised them that he had stabbed the deceased person during a family argument. The deceased subject has been identified as Sirveorge Deron Jones, 40 years of age, from Nacogdoches.
Officers arrested Emar’ian Nikhy Trezmin Jones, 23, of Nacogdoches for Murder after their investigation produced probable cause for arrest.
This incident is not related to a murder that occurred at Eastwood Terrace Monday evening.
