The Nacogdoches Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Oak Hill Plaza late Thursday night.
The NPD 911 Dispatch Center received a call of gunshots in the area at approximately 10:10 pm.
Officers arrived and located a female inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. The shooter is unknown at this time.
The female was transported to a local hospital and is being treated and the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Officers continued the on-scene investigation until approximately 2:00 am.
NPD Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
