November 22 Crime Log: Hi-Ho Silver Truck! Away!

PUBLIC INFORMATION REPORT FOR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2010
INFORMATION FROM 0600 11.21.10 to 0600 11.22.2010

     HIT AND RUN; 3900 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. AN UNKNOWN SILVER VEHICLE STRUCK COMPLAINANT’S VEHICLE AND FLED THE SCENE WITHOUT GIVING INFORMATION.

     CRIMINAL TRESPASS; 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. UNKNOWN SUSPECTS WENT THROUGH THE COMPLAINANT’S RESIDENCE WITHOUT PERMISSION. NOTHING TAKEN.

     ASSAULT; 100 BLOCK OF ELLINGTON STREET. OFFICERS WERE INVESTIGATING A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE. OFFICERS OBSERVED A MALE MAKE OFFENSIVE CONTACT WITH A FEMALE VICTIM. THE MALE WAS ARRESTED.

     EVADING ARREST-DWLI; 100 BLOCK OF SOUTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. OFFICERS ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A TRAFFIC STOP WHEN THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE FLED FROM THEM. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT THE DRIVER, CHARVOSKY BROOKS, TO HAVE A SUSPENDED DL. HE WAS ARRESTED.

     HIT AND RUN; 3000 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE STRUCK COMPLAINANT’S PARKED VEHICLE AND FLED THE SCENE.

     DWLI; 100 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. OFFICERS CONTACTED A SUSPECT ON TRAFFIC STOP. THE DRIVER WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE. HE WAS ARRESTED.

     THEFT; 1600 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. CASH WAS MISSING FROM A CASH DRAWER AT A LOCAL BUSINESS. APPROXIMATELY $200.00 IS MISSING.

     POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA; 3000 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. OFFICERS CONTACTED A FEMALE SUSPECT ON A TRAFFIC STOP. DURING THE INVESTIGATION, OFFICERS LOCATED SUSPECTED MARIJUANA IN THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED.
