Wright (Democratic): This week!

Fellow Nacogdoches Democrats,

Two important items for this week:

1) Thurs, Sept. 8, 5:30 — Executive Committee Meeting at Courthouse Annex. This meeting will feature a forum for the two candidates for County Chairperson (Walter McCrimmon, Roy Boldon) to finish out my term. After the forum, our executive committee will possibly vote on a successor, as well as to approve my resignation. All Dems are invited to attend and participate, though any official business will be conducted exclusively by the committee. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact me at stephen.wright15@gmail.com.

2) As our Governor works to win the Presidency (and lead a federal government he despises), it’s important for us Texans to remind our friends, family, and neighbors how much damage a Perry Presidency could do. If you haven’t done so yet, check out MeetRickPerry.com and share it with everyone you can.

It’s been a pleasure to serve as your Chairman for the last two years. While I look forward to more time with my family and a heavier focus on my work representing our public school teachers, I plan to be as involved as possible in next year’s elections. My only regret is that I will not be able to lead our party in celebration of election victories next November. Still, I look forward to celebrating with you all the same. Let’s continue to work to get out the vote, re-elect our President, and make gains in Washington and Austin. Let’s continue to work to turn Texas Democratic blue!

Progressively Yours,

Stephen Wright, Chairman
Nacogdoches County Democratic Party
