Fresh Ground Cornmeal available this Saturday

We are excited to announce after a long absence fresh ground corn meal will be available for purchase this Saturday at the Farmer’s Market!

Other things you might find this time of year: baked goods (breads, cakes, mini cheesecakes, cookies, fried pies & pies), candles, canned goods (jams & jellies, marmalades, preserves, chow-chow, pickled vegetables, salsas & relishes), artisan Texas cheese, fresh ground cornmeal, free-range eggs, organic tilapia fish filets, local raw honey, jewelry, plants (cacti, bedding plants, house plants, fruit trees, trees & whips), smoothies, soaps (lye and herbal), tamales, vinegars and fruit wines. LOCAL PRODUCE: frozen shelled beans (butter & baby Lima), cantaloupes, cucumbers, eggplants (5 kinds), greens (mustard & turnip), okra, onions, fresh shelled purple hull peas, frozen shelled peas (brown Crowder, purple hull & zipper cream), peppers (Anaheim, banana, green Bell, cayenne, red hot cherry, cowhorn, jabanero, jalapeno & serranos), new potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash (patti pan, pinata, yellow & zucchini), tomatoes (green & red) and watermelons.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. The market is not currently open on Wednesday’s. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot. Make plans to join us for our Fall Fling on Saturday, September 22nd.
Please note that the Farmer’s Market is a “Smoke Free” facility for the health of our customers and vendors.
