The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot. Our Wednesday markets our back so you can shop the Farmer’s Market every Wednesday, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Please note that the Farmer’s Market is a “Smoke Free” facility for the health of our customers and vendors.
TWO ARRESTED IN FELONY MARIJUANA CASE
Nacogdoches Police have arrested two individuals and charged them with possession of a felony amount of marijuana.
NPD Street Crimes Unit officers stopped a 2001 Volkswagen driven by Maurice Dodd, 25, of Center,Tx. For a traffic violation in the 100 block of Old Tyler Road. Through investigation, officers located over four ounces of marijuana in the vehicle.
Dodd and a passenger, Dameious Wyatt, 23, also of Center, were arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana. They remain in the Nacogdoches County Jail.
