CRIME STOPPERS SEEKS WANTED FUGITIVE
Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers is seeking information that leads to the arrest of a wanted fugitive. JAVOSKY THOMAS has outstanding felony warrants from Navarro County and is a resident of Nacogdoches. The warrants are for burglary and felony criminal mischief.
THOMAS is described as a black male, 32 years of age, 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He is possibly driving a silver 1999 Oldsmobile with Texas License BTC1309.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO APPREHEND A WANTED FUGITIVE YOURSELF. If you have information on this fugitive’s whereabouts call Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers at 936.560.4636 (INFO). CRIME STOPPERS SEEKS INFORMATION ON CHECK FORGERY SUSPECTS
On January 19, two unidentified suspects forged a stolen check to purchase a John Deere riding mower from a merchant in Nacogdoches. The suspects loaded the mower into a dark colored (possibly black) GMC or Chevrolet 4 door truck. The suspect passing the check is a black male with a bald head wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. The suspect accompanying him is a heavy set black male with a grey beard and is possibly wearing glasses. He is wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a LA Dodgers baseball hat. A third suspect was driving the truck.

The Stephen F. Austin State University Alumni Association recently established the Dr. Morgan Moses Memorial Scholarship to help support currently enrolled graduate students studying in the James I. Perkins College of Education.
Moses, of Longview, passed away April 17, 2014. Moses attended North Texas State University where he received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degree in education. He served as a teacher, coach and principal for the Judson School District and earned tenure as a high school principal at Garland High School.
Additionally, Moses served as a professor and department chair in the College of Education at SFA. Following his retirement from the university, Moses was named Professor Emeritus.
Moses is survived by two sons and their wives, Dr. Mike Moses, a 1974 and 1975 SFA graduate, and wife, Debi, of Dallas, and Monte Moses, a 1976 and 1977 SFA graduate, and wife, Kathy, of Englewood, Colorado.
The Dr. Morgan Moses Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to graduate students pursing a degree in education administration. Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 grade-point average.
Anyone wishing to donate to the scholarship may send a check payable to the SFASU Foundation with instructions to apply the gift to the Dr. Morgan Moses Memorial Scholarship. Donations should be mailed to P.O. BOX 6096, SFA Station, Nacogdoches, TX 75962.
