The Nacogdoches County Chamber plans to purchase the facility it now leases at 2516 North Street.

The Chamber facility is not “The Chamber” in every aspect. But the building plays an important role as a welcome center for many people. Think about the inquisitive people who step out of their car and walk through these doors. Some are just learning about Nacogdoches. Others are contemplating moving here. Some are on the verge of taking a job, going to school, retiring or perhaps just visiting. The Chamber facility influences many unspoken decisions that affect the viability of our economy and quality of life. This facility is home base – a rally point also for volunteer activity that builds up Nacogdoches with positive energy and a can-do spirit.

To help with the purchase and upgrades such as paint and carpet, companies can donate directly to the Chamber. Individuals, groups and foundations can donate to the East Texas Area Foundation, a 501-c-3 non-profit organized with the mission of assisting community-based projects. Just indicate on your check that the funds are for the Chamber Facility.
