(August 5, 2024): The Nacogdoches Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the homicide that occurred on July 30th, 2024, in the 400 block of West California St. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Angel Bonilla of Nacogdoches, TX. Investigators have served multiple search warrants and conducted multiple interviews in attempts to follow up on leads and tips.
The investigation is still active with more information expected to be released. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Nacogdoches Police Department at 936-559-2607.
