NPD EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANT RESULTING IN TWO ARRESTS WITH GUNS, DRUGS AND MONEY

The Nacogdoches Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on July 21, 2021 around 2:00 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Seale at a private residence. Officers took two suspects into custody and located numerous drugs and guns. There were a total of three guns seized during the execution of the search warrant. One of the guns was reported stolen through the Nacogdoches Sheriff’s Office. Another gun was found to be an illegal short barreled firearm. Officers located a large amount of PCP, Alprazolam, Methamphetamines, Marijuana, and Ecstasy inside the residence. A large amount of cash was also seized . David Ross 48 years of age from Nacogdoches was taken into custody on eight charges beginning with three counts of Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon. Shalada Hurts 33 years of age from Nacogdoches, Tx was arrested for Resisting Arrest and warrants. Both suspects were taken to the Nacogdoches Law Enforcement Center for Detention.
