SFA’s Office of Multicultural Affairs to host ‘Something To Chew On’ series

Stephen F. Austin State University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs will host the series “Something to Chew On” from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Office of Multicultural Affairs in the Baker Pattillo Student Center, Rooms 3.101 and 3.102.

The series helps stimulate open dialogue about current issues among the campus community. This event will focus on “Achieving Unity Within Diversity” and feature discussions on how to unify campus organizations and students.

Kristine Cross, OMA student ambassador, said the goal is to develop creative solutions to combat the constant sense of competition between organizations.

The series is free and open to SFA students, faculty, staff and the community. Participants also can engage in interactive activities, and food and prizes will be offered.

For more information, contact the OMA at (936) 468-1073 or multiculturalcenter@sfasu.edu.
