January 18 Crime Log: Three arrested for vehicle burglaries

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 700 BLOCK OF VIRGINIA AVENUE. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A SUSPICIOUS PERSON CALL. OFFICERS FOUND THREE INDIVIDUALS THAT WERE IN POSSESSION OF ITEMS TAKEN IN VEHICLE BURGLARIES ON VIRGINIA AVENUE AND COX STREET. JEREMIAH WILLLIAMS, CARNAVIOUS HOGAN AND JAMISON WATKINS WERE ARRESTED.

     THEFT; 1200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. COMPLAINANT WENT INTO A STORE TO SHOP. WHEN HE RETURNED, HIS BICYCLE WAS STOLEN FROM THE FRONT PORCH AREA OF THE STORE. THE BIKE IS A BRIGHT RED POWERLITE SPITFIRE WITH RED AND YELLOW STRIPES.

     ASSAULT; 1300 BLOCK OF SPOKANE. A SUSPECT THREATENED TO DO BODILY INJURY TO ANOTHER. THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED.

     POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA; 700 BLOCK OF OAKHILL PLAZA. OFFICERS OBSERVED A VEHICLE DRIVING RECKLESSLY THROUGH THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. THE SUSPECT WAS STOPPED AND FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED MARIJUANA AND XANAX.

     ASSAULT; 300 BLOCK OF ELLINGTON. A MAN AND WIFE WERE INVOLVED IN A DISTURBANCE. THE MAN ALLEGEDLY PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED THE WIFE BY STRIKING HER AND HOLDING HER DOWN ON A SOFA. THE MAN WAS ARRESTED.
