NPD OFFICERS MAKE NARCOTICS ARREST

In the early morning hours of Thursday, July 30, officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department stopped a Chrysler 300 traveling in the 3400 block of South Street for a traffic violation. While contacting the driver and his passenger, Keaton Lamar Shaw (28) of Shreveport LA, officers developed suspicion of possible drug trafficking. During the course of the investigation Shaw was found to have concealed, on his person, 278 grams of cocaine. Shaw was arrested and booked into the Nacogdoches County jail. The cocaine has an estimated street value of $18,500.00.

The investigation was conducted by the Nacogdoches Police Department K9 Unit.
