November 9: NPD Crime Report

This is a complete list of reports responded to by the Nacogdoches Police Department

In re: P12-20033- Sexual assault- A female reported that she accepted a ride from three unknown black males (no further description) in a van. The suspects then drove the victim to an unknown location, possibly in the southeast section of town, and all three sexually assaulted her. The case is under investigation.

In re: P12-20057- Aggravated Robbery- The victim had parked in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Shawnee. As he walked in front of a parked light colored impala, a black male exited the passenger side of the vehicle and threatened the victim with a handgun. The suspect took the victim’s wallet and a handgun that the victim was wearing. The suspect then got back into the Impala and it fled southbound on Shawnee. The suspect is described as 5’11” tall and weighing 110 pounds. The victim was licensed to carry the handgun. No injuries were reported.

The victim is employed as a probation officer. He was off duty at the time, not acting in an official capacity. It does not appear that his employment status had any connection with this crime. As with any violent crime, we will not be releasing the identity of the victim in this aggravated robbery case. The investigation is continuing.
