Obituary: Ethelyne Lang

Ethelyne Lang, 84, of Nacogdoches passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Mrs. Lang was born August 19, 1928, in Terrell as a daughter of J.A. Lee and Ethel (Dennis) Lee and had lived in Nacogdoches several years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was a dedicated wife and mother to her family. She enjoyed extensive travel through the United States with her husband, following his career. Mrs. Lang also enjoyed caring for her pet dogs.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Doris Lang of Nacogdoches; son-in-law, Marshall Hosea of Conroe; a sister, Sue Buckner of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Jim Lang, Ace Lang, Corneil Hosea, Tammy Craven, Bill Hosea, Jamie Hosea; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Lang; daughter, Brenda Hosea; and her parents.
Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Pastor Paul Sever officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 5127 North Street.
Pallbearers: Billy Lee, Joe Verhalen, Ed Wicker, Jerry Bear, Mike Slavych, and Langston Blankenship.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel.
The family wishes to extend a special note of appreciation to Dr. Randal Vinther, Dr. D.E. Cagle, Dr. Larry Malone, and the second floor staff of Nacogdoches Medical Center for their special care for Mrs. Lang.
