June 4: NPD Crime Report

This is a complete list of reports responded to by the Nacogdoches Police Department

Burglary of a Habitation and Aggravated Kidnapping- Occurred at 330 this morning in the 2800 block of South Fredonia. The male suspect, Jerald Martinez, age 31, entered his estranged girlfriend’s residence without permission and produced a knife. The suspect held the knife to the victim’s throat and ordered her outside. The suspect was attempting to get the victim to a vehicle, with the knife still at her throat. The victim’s sister intervened with a pistol, and ordered the suspect to let the victim go and ordered him back into the residence where he was held for the police. The suspect was arrested. The victim, a 20 year old female, sustained minor lacerations in the altercation and was treated by EMS at the scene.
