Constable Office PCT 4 discovers six pounds of marijuana during traffic stop

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office PCT 4 has made an arrest late Wednesday Night after a traffic stop revealed a large quantity of marijuana found inside a vehicle. Constable Jason Bridges stated that the stop occurred on highway 59 around 11:00 pm. Deputy Constable Allen stopped a dodge charger for expired registration. Constable Bridges stated that the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was very nervous and gave Deputy Allen conflicting statements about her trip. Deputy Allen also observed other indications that caused concern that criminal activity may be occurring. Deputy Allen conducted a search of the motor vehicle after obtaining consent to search the motor vehicle. Six pounds of marijuana was located in the trunk of the motor vehicle inside a garbage bag.

     The driver of the vehicle, Ciara Gladney 23 years of age was arrested for possession of marijuana a 3rd felony and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. The marijuana carries a street value of $4,800 dollars.
