September 12: SFA Crime Log

Friday September 9, 2011 – Monday September 12, 2011

On 9-11-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Landing in reference to a subject carrying a weapon case and bow case. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the subject, who the Officer discovered had a weapon inside his residence and in possession of a dangerous drug at Lumberjack Landing. The subject was arrested for Places Where Weapons are Prohibited and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.

On 9-11-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Griffith Hall in reference to Harassment. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 9-10-2011 and 9-11-2011 he received numerous unwanted text messages from an unknown person. There are no suspects.

On 9-15-2011 an Officer located graffiti on a dumpster in lot 49, on the west wide wall of Lumberjack Lodge, and in the area of the lower and upper Art Building. There are no suspects.

On 9-11-2011 an Officer was contacted by two complainants at Lumberjack Landing in reference to Assault. The subjects advised the Officer on 9-11-2011 they were assaulted by three unknown subjects at Lumberjack Landing. There are three suspects.

On 9-11-2011 an Officer was dispatched to University Woods in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival the Officer located the entrance sign had been sprayed painted with purple spray paint. There are no suspects.

On 9-10-2011 an Officer working the SFA football observed two subjects fighting near the Ag Pond. Two subjects were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There are two suspects.

On 9-10-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Village in reference to a Drug Compliant. Upon arrival the Officer located four subjects in possession of drug paraphernalia inside a residence at Lumberjack Village. There are four suspects.

On 9-9-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Steen Hall in reference to a Drug Complaint. Upon arrival the Officer located four subjects in possession of K2 and MDPV inside a residence at Steen Hall. Three subjects were issued criminal trespass warning from SFA’s campus. There are four suspects.

On 9-9-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Barnes and Noble Bookstore in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised two subjects had stolen textbooks from Barnes and Noble Bookstore on 9-9-2011. One of the subjects was located at Varsity Bookstore attempting to sell the textbooks; the other subject came to UPD and turned himself into Officers. Both subjects were arrested for Organized Criminal Activity and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There are two suspects.

Wednesday September 7, 2011 – Friday September 9, 2011

On 9-9-2011 an Officer made contact with two subjects at the Ag Pond in reference to suspicious activity. The Officer located one of the subjects to be in possession of marihuana. There are two suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic offense on Aikman Drive. The Officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, who the Officer discovered have an outstanding warrant through another agency. The subject was arrested and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. The Officer discovered the passenger of the vehicle to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. There are two suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of East College St. in reference to Hit and Run. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 9-6-2011 and 9-7-2011 his unattended vehicle was damaged in the 900 block of East College St. There are no suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of UPD in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 9-7-2011 his unattended cell phone was stolen at the Baker Pattillo Student Center. There are no suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of UPD in reference to Harassment. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 8-30-2011 and 9-7-2011 she received numerous unwanted phone calls from an unknown person. There are no suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the Parking and Traffic Office in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who between 8-29-2011 and 9-7-2011 his SFA commuter permit was stolen from his vehicle at an unknown location. There are no suspects.

On 9-7-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the Early Child hood Research Center in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 8-9-2011 and 8-30-2011 two files were stolen from her office at the Early Childhood Research Center. There are no suspects.

Tuesday September 6, 2011 – Wednesday September 7, 2011

On 9-6-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Hall 14 in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 9-6-2011 his handlebars to his bicycle were damaged while the bicycle was secured on a handrail at Hall 14. There are no suspects.
