Get your Vegetables this Wednesday at the Market (May 4)

     Lori Crawford will be selling frozen pinto beans, Beets (2 TYPES), broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, free range eggs (some double yolk), greens (collard, mustard & spinach), kohlrabi, lettuce, onions, fresh English peas, frozen purple hull peas, new potatoes, rutabage, radishes (regular & watermelon), large purple top turnips and strawberries from the Crawford farm in Timpson.

     “There is tons of fresh produce available in Nacogdoches County this time of year. We are thrilled our vendors are ready to be able to serve the market’s customers twice a week,” said Main Street Manager Sarah O’Brien.

     Things to look for this Wednesday include: Fresh Strawberries, Vine Ripened Tomatoes, Farm raised Tilapia, English peas, Mustard and Turnip greens, Lettuce, New Potatoes and Beets.

     The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 7 p.m.. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
