The Nacogdoches Quilters Guild presents the Blueberry Festival of Quilts which will be held in conjunction with the 23rd annual Texas Blueberry Festival sponsored by Brookshire Brothers. The quilt show will be Friday, June 8th,9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, June 9th,10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Fredonia Hill Baptist Church, 1711 South Street. The judged show features 150 works of fabric art ranging from traditional bed quilts to wall art quilts. There will be vendor booths, demonstrations, and a Country Store with hand made quilt related items for sale. A queen size donation quilt, “Dresden Bells and Blocks” made by members of the guild will be raffled off with proceeds benefitting two local charities, Love In The Name of Christ and the Women’s Shelter. Admission:$5 good for both days.
