     Funeral service for Mrs. Mollie Oleta Heath, 63, of Fort Worth, Texas formerly of Nacogdoches will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Brasheer. Burial will be at Douglass, Cemetery.

     Mrs. Heath was born on June 3, 1947, in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Shirley Leon Seale and Agnes Catherine Nelson Seale. She passed away on February 16, 2011, in Bedford, Texas.

     Mollie grew up in Central Heights having graduated from CHHS. She married Luther Heath in 1976, in Houston, Texas. She like to sew, quilting and was a hospital volunteer. She and Luther had enjoyed traveling, and camping in their R.V. until Luther’s health deteriorated. She dabbled in bird watching, gardening and cooking, with her Mississippi Mud Cake being her most sought after dessert by friends and family. She loved her family as well as her dog “Cricket”. Mollie was raised a baptist and was a past member of Channelview Baptist Church and Douglass Baptist Church.

     Mollie is survived by a son, Roy Lynn Heath and wife, Jamie of Hurst, Texas; a step-son, Daniel Heath, of Ashville, North Carolina; five sisters, Naomi Chancellor and husband, Albert of Nacogdoches, Kathy Smith and husband, Albert of Nacogdoches, Alice Saunders of Azle, Texas, Shirley Russell and husband, Jim of Waco and Kathy Remeur of Hubbard, Texas; four brothers, Lynn Bass of Nacogdoches. Homer Bass of Trawick, George Bass of Nacogdoches and Johnny Seale of Seabrook, Texas.

     In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Heath.

     Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 6-8 pm pm at Laird Funeral Home.

     Pallbearers will be Lynn Bass, Keith “Bugs” Bass, Albert Chancellor, Mark Kerr, Brian Traylor and Bubba Phillips.
