Nacogdoches Police traffic investigators are still investigating a fatality accident that occurred on University Drive yesterday morning.
The call on the accident was logged at NPD at 7:46 a.m. A 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Matthew Flynn, age 49 of Nacogdoches was southbound on University Drive just south of East College Street. A 2016 Kia driven by Katy Williams, age 21 of Chireno changed lanes in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the Kia and went on to strike a 2013 Hyundai driven by Dustin Wood, age 19 of Nacogdoches.
Mr. Flynn was transported to a local hospital where he died at 3:45 p.m. yesterday. There were no other injuries reported. No charges have been filed at this time.
