Solar Eclipse Event at the Public Library
The Nacogdoches Public Library will host a solar eclipse viewing party on Monday, August 21st from 12:30-1:15 pm. A limited supply of solar eclipse glasses will be available for customers on a first-come, first-serve basis. The library staff will also have volunteers and staff available to help participants view the eclipse using optical projection and telescopes. The event is free and no registration is required.

Computer Basics at the Public Library
The Nacogdoches Public Library announces its beginner computer class schedule for Fall 2017. Computer Basics, which teaches mouse skills, copying, pasting, and basic Internet searching, will be offered on August 30th, October 4th, November 1st, and December 6th. All class times are at 4:00 pm. Classes are free, but registration is requested. Please call 559-2970 to register.
