Crime Log: Left a bigger tip then expected

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty

     P10-17605 ~ 637 N UNIVERSITY DR ~ THEFT ~ OFFICER CONTACTED A COMP AT JALAPENO TREE IN REFERENCE TO A THEFT. COMP STATED THAT SHE FINISHED HER MEAL AND WENT TO HER VEHICLE AND REALIZED SHE LEFT HER CELL PHONE ON THE TABLE. WHEN SHE RETURNED TO RETRIEVE THE PHONE IT WAS GONE. THE PHONE IS A BLACK AND SILVER BLACKBERRY CURVE IN A HOT PINK CASE. UNKNOWN SERIAL NUMBER.

     P10-17612 ~ 2805 NORTH ST 126 ~ ASSAULT (FV) / THEFT ~ OFFICERS CONTACTED COMP WHO ADVISED HER BOYFRIEND, PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED HER DURING AN ARGUMENT. COMP REPORTEDLY PUSHED HER AND PULLED HER HAIR. THERE WAS NO INJURIES VISIBLE OR REPORTED. COMP CLAIMS THAT SUSPECT TOOK HER BLACKBERRY CURVE CELL PHONE, WALLET, AND APPROXIMATELY $800.00 CASH FROM THE APARTMENT AT AN UNKNOWN TIME. SUSPECT WAS GONE UPON OFFICERS’ ARRIVAL AND SHE DID NOT WISH TO FILE CHARGES.

     P10-17578 ~ 1602 CARDINAL ST ~ HIT AND RUN. UNKNOWN DRIVER OF UNKNOWN VEHICLE STRUCK THE COMPLAINANTS VEHICLE AND LEFT IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION WHILE IT WAS PARKED IN THE PARKING LOT UNATTENDED.

     P10-17575 ~ 1516 E MAIN ST ~ FOUND PROPERTY. OFFICER RESPONDED TO A CONVENIENCE STORE IN REGARDS TO A THEFT COMPLAINT THAT TOOK PLACE ON THE PREMISES. WHILE THERE THE CLERK TURNED OVER A BLK. WALLET LEFT BEHIND BY A CUSTOMER.

     P10-17592 ~ 821 RIDGEWOOD DR ~ CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ABUSE ~ COMP ADVISED THAT AN UNKNOWN PERSON TOOK HER SOCIAL SECURITY DEBIT CARD FROM HER PERSON WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING. SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHO WAS IN THE RESIDENCE WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING BUT THREE KNOWN MALES FREQUENT HER RESIDENCE.

     P10-17603 ~ 4600 SOUTH ST ~ MAJOR ACCIDENT ~ NPD UNITS RESPONDED TO A TWO VEHICLE COLLISION IN THE 4600 BLK OF SOUTH ST. A MAROON 1992 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX TURNED NORTHBOUND INTO THE SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC LANES OF SOUTH ST FROM THE 100 BLK OF E SPRADLEY ST. VEHICLE COLLIDED HEAD ON WITH AN ONCOR UTILITY TRUCK THAT WAS SOUTHBOUND. DRIVER OF THE CAR WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO NMH-ER AND LATER FLOWN TO TYLER. THE EXTENT OF HIS INJURIES IS STILL UNKNOWN. TXU DRIVER REPORTED NO INJURIES AND THE CASE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
