The Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 has arrested two suspects involved in two different burglaries

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 has arrested two suspects involved in two different burglaries that have occurred in the precinct on Thursday evening. Constable Bridges stated that Deputy Constable’s responded to a burglary of a building on Wednesday December 14, 2011 where several items had been stolen from a building.

     A witness to the burglary was able to describe the vehicle that fled the scene and give a very detailed description of the suspect vehicle and driver. Deputies were familiar with the vehicle and the driver of the truck, due to having dealt with the suspect in the past. Bridges stated that after interviewing the suspect and other witness, the Constable office was able to obtain a probable cause warrant for the arrest of Bradley Thomas.

     The Constable Office also served two outstanding felony warrants on Anthony Ray Adams for the offense of theft. Constable Bridges stated that his office has had an ongoing investigation into multiple thefts that have occurred on Cr. 238 in Nacogdoches, County. Bridges stated that two suspects have already been arrested in those cases by the constable office on 11-15-2011. Austin Harkey and Curtis Anderson were arrested after being stopped by the Constable Office and the Nacogdoches Police Department while they were in possession of stolen property.

     Bridges stated that the Constable office has been able to link Anthony Ray Adams, to at least two thefts that occurred in this area.

     Bridges stated that some of that property has been recovered and returned to the owner, but we are still investigating where the other property has went. Constable Bridges stated that the value of the thefts that have occurred in this area is over 12, 000 dollars. The Constable Office has been able to recover half of the equipment that was taken in the three different thefts. Bridges stated that his office is still investigating where the rest of the equipment has been disposed of and if any other suspects are involved.

     Bradley Thomas 21 years of age from Woden, Texas was arrested for Burglary of a building State jail felony and Anthony Ray Adams 29 years of age from Nacogdoches, Texas was arrested and charged with two state jail felony thefts charges.
