Friday November 18, 2011 – Monday November 21, 2011
On 11/18/ 2011 an officer was dispatched to the Griffith Fine Arts building in reference to harassing phone calls. The officer made contact with the complainant who advised that he had received harassing calls from an unknown person. There are no suspects.
On 11/18/2011 while on patrol an officer observed three males sitting in a secluded area near the back of the HPE Building. While the officer was identifying the subjects, one of the subjects ran from the officer. The subject was located and places under arrest and during a search incident to the arrest, the officer found a bag of marijuana in his possession. Another subject was found to be a juvenile and in possession of drug paraphernalia. All three subjects received a criminal trespass warning for Stephen F. Austin University. The adult subject was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail and the juvenile will be referred to Juvenile Probation. There are two suspects.
On 11/18/2011 an officer was dispatched to a damaged exit sign in Lumberjack Village 2. There are no suspects.
On 11/19/2011 an officer was dispatched to 505 E. Starr Ave. in reference to a theft. The officer arrived and observed that a flag had been removed from a pole. There are no suspects.
On 11/20/2011 officers were dispatched to the Village Community Center Building in reference to a disturbance. Both subjects admitted that they were involved in mutual combat. Neither one wanted to pursue charges. There are two suspects.
On 11/20/2011 an officer was dispatched to Steen Hall in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival it was found that the complainant and her ex-boyfriend had an argument and an assault had occurred. The victim did not wish to pursue criminal charges. There is one suspect.
On 11/21/2011, an officer was dispatched to the UPD lobby in reference to a criminal mischief. The officer made contact with the complainant, who stated that her car had been keyed sometime between 5:00pm and 10:00pm on 11/21/2011 in Lot 8 East. There are no suspects.
