The City of Nacogdoches will be installing a new three-way stop on Park Street at the intersection of Logansport Street.
The new stop intersection is being installed to protect a pedestrian crossing across Park Street as part of a new sidewalk route for the street.
“All traffic, both east and westbound, on Park Street will be required to stop at the intersection of Logansport Street.” said Sgt. Greg Sowell, Public Information Officer for the Nacogdoches Police Department. “Traffic on Logansport Street will have to stop at Park, creating a three-way stop”.
The stop signs have been installed but are covered at this time. They will be uncovered and the new traffic control system will become operational on Friday, July 22nd.
Motorists and pedestrians should exercise extreme caution in this area.
