Mary Jack Jenkins
Funeral services for Mary Jack Jenkins, 94, of Nacogdoches, Texas, will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel.
Mrs. Jenkins passed away May 3, 2011, at a local nursing home. She was born February 22, 1917 in Cushing, Texas, and was the last of five children born to Martin Penney and Docia Griffin.
She married Roy Jenkins on November 16, 1935. They were married for 65 years before his death in July 27, 2001.
Mrs. Jenkins spent her entire life as a giving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. Her generous heart will be missed.
Survivors include one daughter, Charlene Goldsberry and husband Wayne of Lufkin; one granddaughter, Sheri Smith of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren, Amy and Brandon Tyer of Alto, Sarah Goldsberry of Nacogdoches, Heather and John Blankenship of Nacogdoches; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday, May 5, 2011, prior to service at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
