(June 12, 2025) – Our criminal investigation division, in conjunction with fire department personnel, is currently on the scene of a death investigation in the 4300 block of Mystic Lane. Initially, we responded to the residence to perform a welfare check on the resident. Upon arrival, first responders found three adults deceased within the residence. There appeared to be no signs of foul play concerning any of the victims.
Although it is early in the investigation, carbon monoxide poisoning is being considered as a potential cause. CenterPoint Energy is also on scene to help determine the cause. The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of their family. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
