FATALITY VICTIM OF INDUSTRIAL TRAIN ACCIDENT IDENTIFIED

(June 11, 2025) – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who tragically lost their life in the industrial train accident that took place on June 9th, 2025, in the 900 block of S. Fredonia St. The deceased has been identified as Robert Gardner, a 43-year-old resident of Lufkin, TX. Mr. Gardner was an employee of Union Pacific Railroad. OSHA is currently investigating the accident.
