Recent gas thefts result in arrests

In the recent month there has been fuel stolen from numerous locations to include Nacogdoches County, Cherokee County and the city of Nacogdoches.
Reports have been made in regards to diesel and gas being stolen from NISD, Martinsville ISD, Garrison ISD, Chireno ISD, Woden ISD Alto ISD, Cherokee County work barns and believe there could be more thefts that have not yet been discovered .
Sheriff Bridges believes that due to the work of all the agencies involved in this investigation is the reason that is was solved so quickly. Agencies involved in the investigation were the PCT 4 Constables office, NISD Police, Garrison PD, Garrison ISD Police, Nacogdoches Police Department and the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators were able to obtain a vehicle description and a trailer, that was used at different locations and pump the fuel into barrels then selling the fuel on the streets at a much lower cost.
Once the Investigators were able to disseminate the information to patrol officers it wasn’t long before a NPD officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Deputies from the Sheriffs Office determined that the vehicle being stopped appeared to be the same vehicle utilized in the fuel thefts.
The male subject identified as Zacorian Deandre White 1/14/1993 along with two juveniles were arrested on scene on unrelated charges by NPD. Upon White being arrested, confessions were obtained in all the fuel thefts.
